Nutrients for Life Foundation to Present “Stimulus” at Southwestern Fertilizer Conference.

Washington, D.C. — This year delegates to the Southwestern Fertilizer Conference (SWFC) can expect Stimulus in the form of a keynote presentation from the Nutrients for Life Foundation. Described as a hour-and-a-half of entertainment, information and inspiration, Stimulus is the theme being used by the Foundation for its annual multi-media update of activities.

Scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, Stimulus will be hosted by comedian Greg Mills and the ever-effervescent agriculture advocate Dr. Jay Lehr. New videos are also being produced for showing at the conference as the Foundation recaps its past activities and announces new initiatives.

Slated for the Stimulus agenda are presentations on sponsoring a new Smithsonian exhibit; updates on a new educational curriculum program; a conversion of the Fertile Minds program for international use; new research findings on healthy food; and the rollout of a new public relations program.

“We welcome all attendees of SWFC to come to Stimulus to see how the Foundation's efforts to educate the public about the important contributions of fertilizer and modern agriculture have grown,” said Ford West, Foundation president. “We look forward to sharing all we have done in the last three years with both donors and those hearing the message for the first time.”

Individuals interested in attending only the Stimulus educational program are eligible for free registration. To R.S.V.P. or for more information, contact the Foundation's Executive Director Kathy Mathers at 202-515-2703 or via email at kmathers@nutrientsforlife.org.
